The Bluenose (medium) is a fishing schooner out of Halifax N.S. Canada. Built in 1921 she carried the nickname for the men and boats hailing from Nova Scotia. Her picture is on the back of the Canadian dime. During prohibition she was used as a rum runner. She was lost off Haiti in 1946.
